How do shipping costs work?

The shipping costs will be calculated depending on the weight of the group of products and the country of destination. This will be an additional charge that will be added at the pledge manager in the BackerKit platform after the end of the campaign, once you complete your surveys. However, and to offer a basic information to our backers, we attach an orientation chart of the shipping cost for each Pledge. The shipping costs of the rest of the products added in the pledge manager by the customer will be added to this indicative shipping cost. Therefore now it can not be determined exactly.

PLEASE NOTE: Those are the prices that agencies give us according to weight and destination.

Can I get more than one Early Bird?

No. Early Birds are set for only one account so you can’t select more than one. If you want to add a second collection of paints you’ll need to increase your contribution by the price of the add-ons section.

How do I add add-ons to my pledge?

Choose your reward level and then increase the pledge amount by the value of the extra(s) you’d like.   This can be done using the “Manage My Pledge” button in the top right corner of this page. Just enter the total to cover your base reward level and any extras you like, and then once you submit the page Kickstarter will take you to Amazon to authorize the payment. The description of these products will be made on the Backerkit platform, a few weeks after the end of the campaign.  You can change your pledge value any time before the end of the project. No payment will be taken until the project is funded and the time period finished.

Can I choose the 24 colors in the THE ESSENTIALS pledge?

No, those have been selected by our painters and it’s a close list to avoid packaging delays as each pledge could be completely different.

Where are DROP & PAINT paints going to be produced?

Paints will be produced in Spain. Shipping and handling will be managed in our warehouse in Spain.

What is your refund policy?

We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we can only refund subtracting Kickstarter and BackerKit fees (which we can’t get back after 14 days). ONCE PRODUCTION STARTS, NO REFUNDS ARE POSSIBLE. This project is being funded in EUR and any refunds processed will be in EUR for the exact amount received in EUR, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
